Deutics provides an online platform for international students to research, match with, and prepare application materials for German universities. By registering an account, a binding contract is formed between you and Deutics.

Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our terms or attempt to abuse the platform.

We offer a 'Free' tier subject to strict usage limits (e.g., weekly quotas for AI matching and generation). The 'Plus' tier provides extended limits and premium features. Subscription limits, billing cycles, and features are subject to change, which will be communicated in advance.

The AI tools are provided to assist in drafting applications. Users are strictly forbidden from using automated scripts to bypass limits, generating illegal or harmful content, or reverse-engineering the platform. The final responsibility for the accuracy and submission of university applications lies entirely with the user.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a Plus tier purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. However, if you explicitly request immediate access to the digital AI features and begin using your generation/review limits, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely.

Deutics does not guarantee admission to any university. We are liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, or from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty. For slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages.

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Registered users will be notified of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Cottbus, Germany, provided the user is a merchant or a legal entity.
